How to make this sound

phonetic This is a medium length vowel. The lips are held quite forward and rounded so that the circle formed between the lips is smaller than the short phonetic sound.

The lip muscles are held tighter than they are for the shorter Sound sound too.

The tongue is pushed down inside the mouth compared to the shorter Sound sound too.

The muscles of the middle and tip of the tongue are contracted/ pulled in towards the midline of the tongue- the tongue is bunched in towards the midline.

The letter 'R' is not always sounded as Sound particularly after a vowel letter a,e,i,o,u
