Now look again at the task on this page. What is the purpose of the letter to the Director of LangSports Co. and of the note to Tina?
T A S K
You recently spent two weeks in Brighton, England with LangSports Co., a company which organises combined holiday sports and language programmes. You feel that the holiday did not live up to the claims of the original advertisement and you have decided to write to the Director to complain.
Read the original advertisement for the holiday (and the notes you wrote on it) and part of a letter from a friend who you wrote to about your experience.
Then, using the information carefully,
a) write a letter (200 words) to the Director of LangSports Co. telling her/him how you feel.
b) write a short note (50 words) to your friend, Tina, telling her what you have decided to do.
You should use your own words as far as possible. |
