In pairs. Make questions for your partner. Eg:

Stage - II

Now use question tags to check this information that you have just been given
When we think we know something but want to check , we use question tags.
Now you know the answers so ask again, but this time use question tag form. Eg. Which film did you see last night? becomes You saw 'Titanic' last night, didn't you?

1. The most famous composer in the world is ____, aren't they (1)?
2. Snow is black, isn't it?
3. Singapore covers more area than any other country, doesn't it?
4. You don't get up before midday, do you?
5. paris is in Germany, isn't it?
6. There's half-a-dozen eggs in an egg box, aren't there?

Notes:

1. We use they to speak about a singular person instead of he or she

Question words used for statements too

Which of the question words in bold could also be used to make statements. Eg: When I grow up , I'd like to be an engine driver.
