We use "going to " to speak about the future.

  • I am going to be a footballer when I grow up.
  • Tomorrow, I am going to go to the city.

Will

We use "will" to speak about the future.

  • I will go on holiday next year.
  • If we don't hurry, we will be late for the match. First Conditional
