A typical Bechet composition, similar to Jungle Drums, As-tu-la-Cafard, Petite Fleur etc. Bb minor has more depth than Am. He was especially good in minor keys or passages, and his version of Summertime is one of the classics of jazz. Hear him playing it live with the Pierre Braslavski orchestra to a large audience; this version has wonderful intro and outro.
