  1. Lost their legs in the war
  2. Are not really human, but more of jellyfish.
  3. Don't have anything backing up their argument well

Grammar Focus!!

Plural pronouns for single person who is unknown, hypothetical or of unknown sex
Singular pronouns he/she can be very awkward for this. Example: Someone is knocking on the door, would you please go and see you it is:
  1. Ask them what they want.
  2. Ask he, she , it or them when it, she, he, or they want
