Stages in Building a Clock

1. The pendulum

   This stage will deliver a working pendulum that should swing in a stable fashion by itself for a considerable period of time.

   Points to consider

   1. The design should be substantial. Although we want to minimise the energy consumption of the pendulum in terms of overcoming friction within the mechanisms, it will need to house various cogs and moving parts.
