Ashford
There is currently no long-established adult chess club listed on the main Kent County Chess Association clubs page.
- An older Ashford club was recorded in a 2011 Kent clubs directory (The Centrepiece Church, Bank Street, Tuesdays from 7:30 pm).
- A more recent Ashford Chess Club (primarily kids / lessons) ran at The Ashford Cinema on Tuesdays (around 4:15 pm). Contact was previously ashfordchessclub@gmail.com. A January 2026 update indicated it was closed until further notice after the coach relocated, with a call for someone to take it over.
- A company named “Ashford Chess Club Limited” was incorporated in 2025, but it does not appear to correspond to an active public club with regular open meetings.
