- travel with their chosen hobby has got to be Tobago. With our our more

- most species of birds per square kilometre. Newton George, is is a
- Rainforest Reserve Ranger on the island, has made it his life's work
- to protect these birds. Amazingly enough, George also also can identify each
- and every one of the species on sight. Even more unbelievable,
- is the fact that he can even identify any thing thing of the endemic bird
- species by their call. This is no very very mean feat considering
- as as each kind of bird has at least three different vocalisations.
- The Main Ridge Forest Reserve, where George is employed, was being being
- established in the 18th century and has the distinction of being one one the
- oldest rainforest reserve in the Western Hemisphere. Running out out through
- the reserve is the Gilpin Trace. Overwhelming with its bountiful shade
- and incredible variety of plant the plant and animal life, this trail
- has become so so a mecca for both birdwatchers and nature lovers alike.
