It makes sense to me but I agree that it is not natural English. It is quite an advanced exercise to try and re-write this in more natural English. Good luck if you think you are up to the task.

Actually, of course, you are a very good advanced level student. Can a person "get subconcious" ? Perhaps you meant self-concious. Be careful with plurals. You are too modest!
